The Central Square Central School District is pleased to announce the anticipated continuation of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Program for the 2026-2027 school year.  Please note that this program depends entirely on New York State grant funding and will only be offered if the final 2026-2027 state budget includes it.

Applications are due to the Curriculum & Instruction Office by March 31, 2026.  Children will be selected through a lottery process in accordance with the UPK grant requirements.  Families will be notified by mid-April 2026 if their child has been selected.  The notification letter will include instructions for completing the on-line registration.  

Child must be 4 years old on or before 12/1/26.
